Future Optics’ compact coarse wavelength division multiplexers (CCWDMs) are integrated optical modules using Future Optics’ free-space optical platform to have collimators and filters bonded on a common substrate. In a package less than one-fourth the size of conventional 3-port CWDM modules, these CCWDMs significantly improve optical performance, while reducing manufacturing costs. Custom wavelengths and channel configurations are available.
Future Optics' 9CH CCWDM Mux Deumx with an upgrade channel device has a compact footprint of 7*32*44 mm and 1.7 dB low insert loss in commercial temperature range. CCWDM (compact CWDM) is an upgrade version of Three-Port cascaded filters CWDM. It adopts Free-Space technology. Inside the device, adjacent signal channels are cascaded by parallel beam instead of the routing fiber, and all the collimators and filters are fix on the same panel base, channel fibers are arranged at both side of device.
